Surabaya, February 15 - 16, 2020

Block your calendars on February 15 and 16, 2020 to join ACT, Inc. Being a mission-driven and non-profit organization, ACT has been dedicated to helping people achieve education and workplace success.

Organized by ACT Indonesia, you are cordially invited to participate in the 2020 ACT Southeast Asia Summit and Professional Development Conference at Sheraton Surabaya Hotel & Towers.

This 2020 event is for you to stay ahead of the curve with the latest insights into trends and outlook for the higher education sector, network with more than 250 stakeholders from hundreds of secondary schools and higher education institutions from Southeast Asia and meet with Pathway University representatives at our College Fair.

ACT is more than just a test! True to its vision, ACT wants to help people learn, measure their progress and improve their navigation through life’s transitions.

Accumulating nearly 60 years of research and assessment expertise, ACT developed the ACT Holistic Framework to chart our transformation course to one that provides personalized education to benefit individuals in their learning journey from elementary school through career. We value and recognize the importance for people to develop both academic and non-academic knowledge and skills to be successful at school and work.

Broadly speaking, the Holistic Framework is based on 4 integrated domains:

  • Core academic skills in the areas of literacy and language arts, mathematics and science
  • Cross-cutting capabilities such as critical thinking, studying and learning, collaborative problem solving, and information and technology skills.
  • Behavioral skills relate to success in education and the workforce, such as dependability, working effectively with others, adapting, and managing stress.
  • Education and career navigation skills related to education and career paths, including self-awareness, values, likes, and dislikes; knowledge about majors and occupations; and skills related to education and career exploration, planning, and decision making.

Activities that help people gain skills and knowledge.

The process of figuring out who you are, where you are, where you are going, and how you get there.

The ongoing evaluation of growth and achievement.
